Description The full story Ivy Dupré – Student of Enchantment Originally hailing from Belfrie, Ivy Dupre was considered a prodigy by the locals in her village, able to cast powerful magicks even from a young age. She could soothe the rage of an Owlbear, reduce the stoniest men to tears, or set the minds of her enemies against each other. On one occasion that was reported to the University of Ardris, she even stopped the heart of a boy who had tried to beat her, commanding him with a single word: “die.” Though the boy was revived by the village priest, Ivy and her family were outcast from that moment. The University offered them a place, but they were simple folk, her father a lumberjack, her mother a weaver, supporting three children. They had no coin to pay such a tuition, especially since they were already uprooted from their home. By luck, or fate, word of this reached the University of Canos, and the Dupré family were given an irrefutable offer: a home in Canos, a scholarship for Ivy, and gainful employment provided by the Duke. The family accepted the offer, moving to the city that had been ravaged by Dragonblight only a year prior. Yet in their home they saw little of the destruction that had wrought the city. Many districts were rebuilding, and those that were most affected were cordoned off from the public. Though they initially found suspicion and hatred flung their way for their Nosmeni heritage, those sentiments have slowly begun to erode, as Ivy has found herself. The students at the University are more often intrigued by her appearance than frightened, and her witty mind has earned her both favour with the professors and adoration of students. She is now soon to enter her second year, and has found herself happier here than she has ever been, having quickly grown used to the tight corridors and alleys of the city. Yet, in her mind, she has questioned why the Duke would provide such a generous offer to her family, and fears that he may plan to use her as some sort of pawn or tool in years to come, with her family as leverage. Still, that is a problem for the future. Exceptional Quality Our models are conceived on paper and then bought to life as concept art by our dedicated arts team.
