Description The full story Erina of Amarth – Proctor of Canos A veteran Proctor of the University of Canos, Erina had only just begun her tenure as a Proctor when Dragonblight struck two years ago. In the space of two months she came closer to mortal peril than any other Proctors had in twenty years, and was one of the few survivors left among them when the plague finally ended. Each day was spent pushing herself to the edge, brushing with death time and again; watching as the disease tore the city of Canos apart, and the spirits of the survivors with it. When the plague finally ended, Erina was far from the bright-eyed girl who was hopeful to be an upholder of justice at her place of schooling. She was a hardened warrior, one who now carried the weight of every death at the University, as if it were her own personal failure. She has retreated into solitude since; even by Proctor standards she is a loner, and renowned among students as being extremely callous. Though, to the faculty, her skills, experience and selfless acts during the Blight were remembered. When news came of the outbreak in Limlight, and the university’s responsibility, the Proctors were asked if any might volunteer to aid in containing it, delving into the arcane quarantine zone. Erina was the first to raise her hand, and only. Many believe her to have a deathwish, and that she might find it there in Limlight. For Erina, however, the truth is simple: she has fought the plague before and come out victorious. She can do it again.
