Flange Insulation Kit Type E

Industrial Gaskets standard Type E Flange Insulation Kits are contain a full face gasket which features precision located bolt holes.  This automatically centers the gasket and prevents foreign material from becoming lodged between the flange and ‘shorting out’ the flange. We can supply an extensive range of insulating gaskets, bolt insulation and complete gasket kits to suit any operational specifications. Flange Insulation Gaskets are available in a range of materials.  Some common materials include Compressed Fibre, G10 Epoxy Trojan, Integra© range,  GPT Linebacker © Fire Safe and rubber.  Each kit can be supplied with washers, sleeves in a wide variety of materials depending on your application including Minlon, Mylar,  G11 Epoxy and Nomex. Industrial Gaskets Flange Insulation products are designed to combat the effects of corrosion often found in flanged pipe systems. Galvanic corrosion between dissimilar metal flanges, flange insulation associated with cathodic protection of underground piping are other examples where Flange Insulation can be put to effective use. Flange Insulation Kits Designed to minimise electro-chemical erosion Prevent Galvanic Corrossion Used to electrically isolate sections of pipework Comprise of materials with high dielectric strength   Standard Flange Isolation Kit Style Type D Consists of an RTJ Phenolic gasket or Integra II SSA gasket (supplied with supporting bolts insulation materials).  Required when ring groove flanges are in use. Type E Consists of a Full Face gasket (supplied with supporting bolts insulation materials).  The most commonly specified kit style is the Type E, unless ring groove flanges are being used in which the Type D must be specified. Type F Consists of a Ring gasket (supplied with supporting bolts insulation materials) Flange Insulation kits are available in different Types to suit flange configuration.   There are kits are also available for Potable Water applications.
