The Ebilon™ PTFE Gasket Style 9013 combines the elastomer with the corrosion resistance of PTFE, resulting in excellent sealing performance. This gasket is ideal for PVC pipes, glass lined pipes and other applications where a large tightening force cannot be applied. While the Style 9013-EP Ebilon™ PTFE Gasket realises stable sealing performance under a lower contact pressure than that of an elastomer cut gasket. The benefits over Envelope and PTFE Gaskets are as follows:- Seals Tighter – Sealing rings moulded in manufacture with at least 75% less surface area for high performance in non-metallic and glass lined flanges. Chemical Resistance – Pure PTFE has a pH of 0-14 resisting a variety of acids and alkalis. Non-Contaminating – Can be manufactured in white EPDM fir pharmaceutical, food and electronics service. PTFE bonded with a proprietary process negotiating any chance of delimination.
