The book was written to help with the understanding of the geology of the areas in Wyoming without knowing much about geology. The book is very impressive to those who are interested in geology and want to increase their understanding of what they are looking at while traveling through the geological state of WY. The 6″ x 9″ book has many illustrations in the 271 page book. A glossary at the back of the book helps explain words, such as breccia, conglomerate, ground moraine, and much more. The index is six pages long and covers many areas of WY broken into eight main areas of the state. Many maps, diagrams, history and explanations of areas across the state of WY makes this book a very interesting read!
