EPDM Premium rubber elastomer is a duro 65 material suitable for long term outdoor applications and is completely UV stabilised making it highly resistant to ozone effects and extreme weather conditions. This material has excellent physical properties including mechanical strength.  EPDM will also display resistance to a wide range of chemicals, acids and alkalis, however, has poor resistance to petroleum based fluids. EPDM rubber is suitable for prolonged exposure to aquatic environments and will not deteriorate when submerged in fresh or seawater, making is suitable for marine applications.
