Industrial Gaskets Chutex 40 rubber is a pink, premium grade, soft, flexible and highly elastic Duro 40, wear resistant rubber material. It has excellent resistance to wet and dry fine particle sliding abrasion. This rubber will display resistance to some mild chemicals, including acids and alkalis used in mineral processing. The properties of Industrial Gaskets Chutex rubber include mechanical strength and cut and tear resistance. This makes it suitable for wear protection and sealing applications which require the rubber to be both flexible and compressible. Chutex 40 rubber is mainly used in abrasion applications in the mining and mineral processing industries, but can be used for any general sealing applications.
